  • Use The Built-in Performance Modes

    Our built-in performance modes are designed using extensive research and are specifically tailored to deliver superior results.

  • Use Protective Eye-Wear

    Protects against high-intensity light damage, significantly reducing the risk of phototoxicity. Especially when the light is directed towards the eyes.

  • 5 Days a Week, 30 Minutes a Day

    Limit your use to 30-40 minutes a day and take a 2-day break each week. Overusing red light therapy may lead to diminishing returns.

Best Pre-Built Mode to Use for your Condition

Pre-built modes are designed using a large amount of human focused data and perform better than using "full power" for everything.

Skin & Anti Aging

Best for: Skin rejuvenation, acne, facial filler-related adverse reactions, facial veins, skin non-deep wounds, melasma, psoriasis, rosacea, wrinkles, lines, dermatitis, scars, UV skin damage and erythema, vitiligo and other similar conditions.

Notes: Over-exposure or using the full power mode for facial skin may result in dry/ red/ burned facial skin. That's why it is advised to use this "Skin and Anti-aging mode" - it is specially designed based on successful studies. Start with 3 feet away and come closer in a few weeks if needed.

Eyewear: Use of protective glasses is advised, with eye-lids closed.

Pain & Inflammation

Notes: Shine the light directly to the affected area and rotate the body part if needed. For example, we have seen more success with shining the light to the back of the knee than to the front.

Eyewear: Use of protective glasses is advised. If not shining the light directly to the eyes, then eyes can be open, otherwise, eyelids closed.

Notes: For weight loss, shine the light to the body parts with excess weight. For physical endurance, shine the light to the torso, back, thighs.

Eyewear: Use of blackout goggles is advised due to high NIR and SWIR. If using protective reading glasses provided, eye-lids must be shut and light should not shine directly at the eyes.

Sleep

Conditions covered: Sleep, insomnia, circadian rhythm, melatonin related conditions, jet lag, sleep apnea, sleep disorders, sleep quality, sleep latency, REM sleep, deep sleep, slow-wave sleep, narcolepsy, restless leg syndrome, sleep paralysis, Kleine-Levin syndrome.

Notes: Shine the light to your torso and your face together. Keep eyelids closed. Some studies suggest shining the light to neck, back of the neck and wrists. Use twice: once upon waking and again 1–2 hours before sleep (10 minutes each).

Eyewear: Not necessary if eyelids are closed at 3-4 feet distance.

Full Power

Can be used for the following:

Multifaceted Health Issues: For conditions where inflammation, pain, bacterial infections, and tissue repair are all concerns (like severe injuries or chronic conditions), full power might be used to address multiple aspects simultaneously.

Broad Spectrum Healing:
For healing large or complex wounds where multiple layers of tissue are involved, full spectrum light might offer benefits by addressing different aspects of the healing process from skin level to deep tissue repair (NIR).

  • What Should I Wear?

    For the best results, wear minimal clothing or nothing at all to maximize skin exposure and ensure even light distribution and penetration for optimal cellular stimulation. While wearing clothing may slightly reduce the effectiveness of the therapy, it can still provide benefits if needed.

  • What if I have multiple conditions? How long can I use the device each day?

    As a general guideline, it’s best to limit your red light therapy sessions to 30-40 minutes per day, given the high irradiance of the Total Spectrum devices. If you’re targeting multiple conditions, divide the time between them while staying within this daily limit. Remember, with red light therapy, less is often more – and you’ll start noticing benefits within a few weeks.

  • What if my condition isn’t listed?

  • Why Treat Different Body Parts Independently?

    Topical red light therapy matters because it ensures the photons reach deep into the specific tissues you’re targeting. Mitochondria - the tiny powerhouses inside each cell, need direct light exposure to boost their energy production where it’s most needed. While a general mitochondrial lift might offer broad benefits, it often falls short of delivering genuine, localised healing.

  • Why are Specific Modes More Effective than Full Power?

    Delivering a narrow, controlled range of wavelengths enhances the body’s ability to take in the light it truly needs, optimising absorption and ensuring the desired therapeutic effects.

    That’s why the majority of scientific studies and clinical protocols focus on a limited number of carefully chosen wavelengths rather than relying on a blanket, full-spectrum approach.
